I love the pantyhose look! seems rare to even see them on legs anymore. are they a thing of the past or what? i sure wish they would come back in style again!! ! love the shiny pantyhose look

What you don't understand is that the fashion industry takes its cue from people who are not "physically" attracted to women. In other words, women generally dress to the approval of other women rather than men. Women don't seem to understand that many men are "legmen" and a good pair of sheer hose turns fair legs in to good, and good legs to great. Many of the same legmen are also turned off by pale and imperfect legs and feet. Notice most of the cheerleaders of professional sports teams are in hose. The nylons are also a major attraction for the "Hooters" restaurant franchise.
I work in a building with a large number of men and women and one day one of my single co-workers in her early 30s complained about the single men admiring the 20 something women. It was suggested to her (as a bet) to come in the next day in a skirt, pumps and hose and watch what happens. The next day no less than a dozen guys told her how nice she looked. She also noticed a number of men who stared at her legs. As for her female co-workers, she got quite a bit of negative feedback about being "out of fashion". In the end, while she liked the extra attention from the guys, the comments from her female friends were enough to keep her from dressing to impress "men" a second time.

They are hot, and horribly uncomfortable. You'll probably see more of them in the winter, but they are absolutely not practical for summer!

women are starting to break out of that look, seeing as how it's our mother's "ideal" look. now that the fall/winter season is approaching, you might see it more often. good luck to you?

they are hot, sticky, and uncomfortable they dont let your skin breath
i hate pantyhose.
