Not without any serious medical indication. It is the removal of the womb and in most cases the ovaries, too. Wondering why you are asking this?

The only way that a 14 year old will be given a hysterectomy is that whatever problems that she is having would have to be life threatening.

it's possible not probable though. The biggest way to catch this is to find out if she has a period because women who have hysterectomies don't have periods also ask her if she is taking hormones, because she would have to so she wouldn't go into menopause prematurely but my guess is she has not had one and she is a silly little girl looking for attention....and just to add to her lying she will be one of those that has a kid before graduation, which we all know isn't possible with no organs to conceive.

Any female can have a hysterectomy. Though rarer in younger women, there are certain cancers and diseases that might require a 14 year old girl to have a hysterectomy.

I knew a girl who had one at 17 - but she had an incredibly rare ovarian cancer and it her only chance at survival. Only 1 other woman had ever survived her type of cancer before her.

I highly doubt there are many other reason for which it would performed on a child.

maybe if she had a tumor,or something, and it was necessary. But otherwise, why would a girl want to? It would cause early menopause, hot flashes, mood swings, etc.,so i don't know why someone would want to experience something like that unless she absolutely had to and had no choice. If it's for birth control, that's what condoms and pills are for.

I would think that a doctor wouldn't want to perform the procedure on a child, however if the woman's life is in danger due to cancer or some other disease or condition, they would probably have to.

If she had a serious issue with her uterus then yes she can have had one. If she was say raped when she was really young, there could have been damage, and it was removed.... but to have one electively ( by your choice) is not usually done. I do not know of any doctor that would do that to one so young without her having serious issues with her reproductive organs.

If she did she probably has a good chance of a malpractice lawsuit with her doctor.

Hysterectomies are very dangerous - especially younger in life. That area of the body is responsible for the production of hormones that are essential to your health all the way up to menopause.

Not unless there is something seriously wrong with your system. No doctor would do this unless you had some kind of problem and that was the only fix.
