You can not give a definition to something you do not know the meaning of. You can not define yourself until you know yourself, nor can/should anyone define anyone else, because it is not fair nor is it accurate. You can assume or judge someone in a positive way, and find out later that they really are not good, or a poison personality. All things in moderation. Life doesn't have to measured up in 25 words or less.

The only manual available is experience and reason and I think it is a poorly written one at that. However, it is the best we got for some things never work out no matter hard much effort you put into them by doing it. A good example is becoming rich by constantly using credit cards, or healing your self of AIDS by setting your self on fire. Both are remarkably stupid and even if there is no human manual, we all know better then to believe and do such things. Or at least I hope we are.

Some functions are self evident. Like an Ikea peace of furniture that most of us can build without looking at the manual. Clearly, we are far more complex. Yet, there are ideas/functions/conditions which are self evident and need no manual! On such self evident issues we can criticize for proper reasons...
Do you ever need a manual to fall asleep, urinate, or known better than to go around killing people? LOL... Maybe some might need manuals to urinate or fall asleep, right?
Note: I agree with not interfering with someone else's pursuit of happiness as long as it doesn't directly interferes with your own.

Oh you mean you don't know about the Vedas. They are the original How too books" The manual that came with material creation to understand all thins. The science of everything is in the Vedas. go to asitis.com for the essence of the Vedas and for the cream of the cream go to srimadbhagavatam.org/... Its all there I promise you. IF you read al lthis and have someone to ask questions when you don't understand (a bonifide guru who has seen the absolute Truth) then all our answers will be fulfilled. I am not sentimentalist. I didn't take it for granted. I studied and all my answers are satiated. And Ihad a lot. Don't just poke your nose in and make some judgement, Really read it and then you will know.

You actually have a few too many different questions in this short paragraph:) I am going to address the initial question.
People criticize another because they are egotists and feel that their way is the only way. Another totally different reason, because the people they criticize have the same qualities they possess that they are afraid of or don't like about themselves.

I agree. As long as you are not hurting anyone (including yourself), fill your boots! Live by your own rules. Move to the beat of your own drum & don't let anyone tell you what you "should" be doing. Do what feels right for you. Follow your own heart's song. You are the one that has to look in the mirror at the end of the day. You are your own judge. Your own opinion of yourself is the only one that really matters.

No, there is not. No one person is better than anyone else. Most of the population is unable to see this though and so must instruct others, in order to fulfill their mental need to be helpful.

But there is an instruction manual straight from the manufacturer, the Bible.
But then since I'm a Christian preacher I would feel that way.

This makes a lot of sense. If only there were more people who lived by it.
