She would after all be the wife of the king, or should she have some other title ?

Why do people get so upset about Charles and Camilla - they're only human after all. People have affairs all the time - I'm not saying it's right but Diana certainly wasn't perfect herself

1 as far as I'm concerned Charles deserves to take his place on the throne. He's spent his whole life waiting and being trained up to it, but at this rate his Mother may well outlive him. I think if Charles becomes King then whether she has the title Queen or not Camilla won't care!
Charles no matter what the press try to get us to believe is a great person who made 2 mistakes. Marrying the wrong woman and not marrying the woman he loved years before. He'll be a great king!

2 I agree. The thing that annoys me about people who see Diana as some poor little innocent, badly treated etc! Would Villify any other woman for behaving as she did. He had one affair > she had several! If I did that I'd be called a tart!
She knew that Charles didn't love her and I'm fairly sure she didn't love him! It was a typical royal marriage > one of convenience!

No because Camilla was a divorcee and is not entitled to wear the title of Queen. Instead she will be known as the Queen's Consort (not Princess Consort as someone stated above).

I agree that Charles has done a great many service for the public and it's rare to see that side of him. However, as a Prince, he did not always project a positive image.

Camilla should continue to provide a greater service to the public and should be well-known so that the public may accept her better. It is inevitable that she will be on the throne and she doesn't need any more backstabbing as it is.

As the Queen is still very healthy, I doubt that Charles will be a King or will only be a King for a short time. He is getting up there (in his 60s) and may choose to abidate (sp?) his title and give it to his son, William, as he will be able to "lead" his country better on a more longer term basis.

ALEX : "she couldnt be queen because she wasnt born into royalty"
Your statement is incorrect , the title Queen isn't JUST bestowed on Royalty... Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.. had the title Queen when her Husband was alive and ruling as the monarh ( ie the current queen's parent's)...
she didn't have a NUMBER as such after her name .. and she was born a commoner BUT A BLUE-BLOOD.
Also Queen Mary, the Queen's Grandmother.

now back to the Question .. If Charles becomes King , Camilla DOES NOT HAVE to have the title of Queen.

NOW to the second part of your question ... I AGREE entirely with you ...Camilla and Charles obviously have always belonged together .. They should have married all those decades ago and thus have avoided so much heartbreak for each other and those who have been involved with them.
They are human .. and I think many of us *commoners* forget that,

Yes there should be both.

His Royal Highness will make a great Monarch, but a previous answerer was right- we should not consider that whilst we have the greatest Monarch ever sat on the throne, doing a fine job and in perfect health.

As for Diana/Camilla:

1) It doesn't matter whether or not she is Royal Blood- the Queen Mother had no Royal blood and she was still Queen of Great Britain.

2) I find the Princess of Wales much more appealing as our future Queen than the late Diana Spencer who spent her private life in some dubious company to say the least. Would that the cult of Di would go away and leave TRH to a happy life in service to their country

personally i have no objection to camilla being called queen, however because of the diana situation it may not be a wise thing. charles and camilla have already decided not to use the title queen and i respect this. over the years charles has had a lot of bad rep but personally i think he desperately cares about our nation- look at inner cities and the princes trust and more recently he has made great efforts re racial terrorism. i think we should get behind the guy he will one day be a great king

Same thing about parents' impending death. People say, this and that, but when it comes down to it, they do the right thing and don't go to the extremes.

There shouldn't be a King Charles until the time is right. Right now, there is a Queen and as long as she's fit, it's not time.

Also, what no one has failed to think about is if the time comes, he may not choose the name of Charles as king.

To be honest in my opinion, people can spend a lifetime in service of their country or charity or helping those who needs the help, but it's the one or two negative things in those peoples lives that stick out forever in the minds of people.

So, I'm guessing, in ten years, yes, there will be a Kill Charles briefly and maybe his queen, then because of his age, his son will assume the throne and much as it was with the coronation of the present queen, the country will rally in full support.

I don't think there is a separate coronation for a Canadian monarch, always thought the British coronation ceremony includes ceremonies for all countries the monarch is head of. And contrary to what one of the posters said, Camilla will be queen consort. Philip isn't one because he is husband of the reigning Queen, but the wife of the reigning King is always a queen consort.

NO!

Don't excuse those two for what they did. If Diana had an affair it was because Charles pushed her into it because he was too damn busy with that harlot Camilla. Camilla was a HOMEWRECKER plain and simple.

The crown should be passed to Prince William.

As far as I'm concerned, the only King Charles I would be happy with is the Spaniel down the road. As for Camilla - no comment.
