If you want to bomb London, wouldn't it make sense to follow the BBC signal there and vice-versa with Radio Berlin?

Civilian radio transmitters are not necessarily anywhere near a target you want to hit and could only be used for very general direction finding.

Also I do believe many broadcasts were shut down, or only transmitted at certain times of day.

Hello! I believe that anyone flying a Bomber would know how to use either (1) navigational equipment, or (2) dead reckoning, to locate either London or Berlin. I mean, these people aren't pilots and navigators by accident. Almost everyone of them knew exactly where these two countries and cities were located.

Next question!

It made greater sense for both sides to transmit their own radio signals from two or even three sites that when the aircraft flew along one beam and crossed/reached the other signal, the bomber crews knew they were to drop their bombs.
