my favorites were the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and i agree with the Inheritance Trilogy. Harry Potter was good, but not an absolute favorite. The Giver, Gathering Blue, and The Messenger, were also good, but theyre at younger reading levels. Inkheart, Dragon Rider, and ttyl were great

Overall, Don Quixote. But currently I am in love with Cormac Mc Carthy's The Road. It is an unforgettable book. I think that and The Handmaid's Tale are about as close to perfection as contemporary books get. Pax - C

Mine happen to be the Harry Potter series, like many others here and the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn.

Pendragon series is exciting and funny (it's sci-fi but really good). Inkheart trilogy is so so good and they're making a movie out of it. The last book in the trilogy is coming out in 1 year, but the other two are out. But check inkheart out: it's by cornelia funke. She also wrote The Thief Lord (also becoming a movie) and Dragon Rider (not such a good series).
