yes I had a little tummy, people said I looked 7 months pregnant when I was full-term pregnant. I had a 2.8kilo baby. Which is small, but she was and is a healthy bouncing baby girl, and believe me she is eating plenty to catch up!! In one week she gained half a kilo and 1cm. Now at two months she has gained an extra 5cm and another kilo. Wow huh! :)

When my sister was 9 months pregnant she was still wearing her normal clothes. She was a size 8 before she delivered and she was a size 6 after she delivered. She gave birth to a very healthy 7lb 10oz baby boy. He is now 2 and she is due to have her second any day now. Only with this pregnancy she is actually wearing maternity clothes. Her Dr told her that she probably didn't gain any weight with the first because she was so sick at the beginning of the pregnancy.

I have had two. Both of my boys were right at 6lbs. I never got real big, but thats normal. If the doctor has guessed the weight by ultrasound you should be good. Some people just have small healthy kids. Both of mine were small but very healthy. Don.t worry, just think of it as less weight you will have to lose when the baby comes. I went back to my normal size a week after i had both of my kids(120lbs.) Be happy. and good luck.

I had a petite friend who only gained 12 pounds while pregnant w/ her 3rd child. The entire time she was pregnant, I worried about her and the baby. Every Dr's visit was normal. The baby/mom measured exactly what they were supposed to measure. She delivered a healthy baby girl last month.

I had a very small stomach with both of my pregnancy's.
They say the last month is when your stomach will grow the most.
Both of my baby's were perfect size.
My first was 7lbs. 7 oz. (which was perfect, not hard to deliver, and yet not too small to be scared to hold).
My second was 7lbs. 3 oz.
They were both 21 inches long.
When I left the hospital, my husband had to bring me my regular clothes, from before I was pregnant. I lost most of my stomach right then.
Now I had both of mine vaginally, no C-sections, so if you do the same, you will probably be back to the same clothes you were prior to being pregnant.
There's nothing to worry about, with a small belly.
But this last month is when your belly might really grow.
Good luck to you
And God Bless you and your new baby ;)

My aunt was full term and looked like she was 4 months. Its just the way the baby and your uterus are positioned. I have a few children and always get huge. In the last 2 weeks when the baby is head down I am way smaller than usual. My sister in law is always so small its not fair. We get into a lot of competition over it, Mostly from our husbands who are brothers.

The way you show on the outside has nothing to do with the size of the baby. Some people carry small and some are huge, like me. It is quite normal to gain weight but not see it on the out side. Some babies are growing more inward towards mommy back. They are probably harder to carry because they press on your back and your ribs, but you don't look soooo pregnant.

Your doctor should have done at least once ultrasound during your prenatal care, and based on that should have been able to estimate your child's birth size and given you an idea of the percentile that size falls into (small, average, or large). Also, your doctor can estimate baby's weight/size just by pressing areas of your belly. Everyone is different, but it's common sense that a large baby will take up more room - thus forcing mommy's belly to expand more - than a smaller baby.
There's no way us yahoo's can answer this effectively. Please see your doctor.

Yes that is perfectly normal. In fact when I gave birth to my daughter the nurse even commented on how small my belly was. If you're belly is small, that means you're carry your baby further inside your body. I had a girl and I think that if you carry this way then you will have a girl. My baby was 7 lbs, 7 ozs.

Ya know if your doctor isn't worried about it you shouldn't be either.
I just had a friend who gained only 12 lbs the entire pregnancy have a 6 lb 4 oz baby who is completely healthy.
Don't worry, this is a very small issue, you need to get your rest and take care of yourself before this baby arrives as you will be very busy. They say "Don't sweat the small stuff" and you shouldn't.
