i'm aware its due to adult content and kiddy bed times etc....

i just want to know why its called 'the watershed'

My dictionary says 'a crucial point after which events take a different turn', early 18c, taken from lines of a river bed. So adapted now as the cut off point between kiddies and adult content.

it is totally complicated if the human beings are not in any respect familiar with those English English words. Cockney rhyming slang is a secret to maximum folk - although, I actual have worked with countless Brits, including one that became companies to slipping into cockney rhyming slang - i've got have been given to take a Donald Trump - and that i'm partial to cockney geezer flicks, so i will in particular circumstances stick to alongside.

I have no idea but the tv show makers all seem to totally ignore it so i dont know why they bother with it anymore.
