I'm not sure where you are located but I hardly ever see blacks in yellow (gold maybe and that's usually accompanied by burgundy and a Redskins logo). I don't even own anything yellow...well, there is the one shirt but it's from my rho chi days and I didn't get to pick the color.

My mom likes to wear yellow. She shops at JC Penney. She's white-skinned and has bad fashion sense (but, hey, she's a product of her times so cut her some slack)

i don't have anything in my closet currently that is yellow
i am quite pregnant now
i don't know of any black people who wear it all the time
maybe on the days you notice black people they just happen tohave on yellow
or it could be a "thing" where you live now
