UHH, alienware is not the only gaming PC manufacturer.
There are dozens of others that are far more expensive.
Compared to them, alienware is a bargain.

Anyway, your best bet is CYBERPOWER PC.

They have the cheapest systems I've ever seen that's not refurbushed.
Go to their website here:
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

Pick the right specs, and you'll own that alienware with 3/4 the price!

The name Alienware has nothing to do with how it performs.
I build high-end gaming machines that will kick their butts up and down the street for a lot less. Get yourself a hot board like an Asus PK5 deluxe, put a Q6600 SLACR quad in it, load it up with Ballistix ram with the D9 chips use a couple 75GB Raptors in a raid0 with a big hard drive for storage, use a 640MB EVGA 8800GTS superclock a 520 watt corsair PSU. Buy all your parts on newegg then go to your local computer shop and find a builder or ask about a workshop where people build their own puters with an instructor watching over. Probably save enough to pay for your LCD monitor and speakers.

When buying a gaming pc check the processor power, ram, and video card. The brand isnt important as most pc parts are made by big manufacturers. Go to--Pricewatch.com. They have lots of stores to compare prices, and some even have free shipping!! I went to cyberpower like anonymous x said. They have some really good machines for good prices.

If your motivated you can always shop your own parts and assemble your own computer. Since I built my first computer I can never see myself ever buying one again with the exception of a laptop.
