Well, it depends on what she likes. I have a stepdaughter, and a daughter. I love them both equally, though. Each of them has a different taste for things. So when my stepdaughter turned 13 what I did was that I made her a sleep over with her friends. We ordered some pizza, and made some sushi, and other stuff like crackers and popcorn for a pig out, and also had a scary movies marathon.

Meanwhile, with my daughter we went to the movies, and both of us went to have a facial, and some face treatment. Also, we went out to buy clothes, and some other stuff to the mall. Other thing we did was eat together in a restaurant.

You could ask her what she wants.

Well, for my daughter's 13th birthday, I wanted it to be memorable, but thought diamonds or 'good' jewelry would be lost. So, I had her have over 5 friends and we had a Mary Kay Make-up party. Everyone got facials, and were helped to figure out what colors looked best on them, and learned that subtle make-up is much better than loads of it. I did get permission from all the moms first, because of the make-up thing, and also because the girls got little make up kits to take home with them.
The girls had a great time, and my daughter and her friends still talk about it today and they are 19 and 20 now.

Good Luck

Depends on what she likes. Girls, at this age, love sophisticated gifts like Ipods or Computers. However, if you cannot give her these expensive gifts, don`t worry!
Give her a jewelry, or a thing you think it`s important to her.
And remember: The most important is not the price, is the quality.

take her on a special one night trip (somewhere not too far) and spoil yourselves. get manicures, facials, massages etc... go out for a nice dinner and eat as much junk food as you can. this is a perfect way because not only will she enjoy it and remember it forever, but it may also make her feel more grown up. hope her birthday is memorable!
