The Seattle Seahawks have the worst helmet....I mean what the HECK is that cosmic bird? They also have the worst color scheme of modern teams. The Cleveland Browns are 'b-o-r-i-n-g" in terms of design, but then again they have the tradition and fan support. The New York Football Giants Red jerseys are pretty awful as well, as are the Cowboys throw back jerseys (which they seldom win in while wearing).
The best are the San Diego "Superchargers" with the charger blue jerseys and white helmets. On the college level and while not a gold-domer, the Notre Dame Green Jerseys are always a fan favorite. Hope this helps.

Cleveland Browns, without hesitation. To improve them, you'd have to change the whole color scheme. Brown is not a "sports" color. And don't even get me started on those hideous orange helmets. I know they won titles back in the day, but I don't believe any team will ever win a Super Bowl in uniforms that ugly.

Definitely the Cleveland Browns.
Do away with the orange all together. Home uniform colors should consist of white tops (Brown lettering)and brown pants. Away uniforms, brown tops (White lettering) white pants. Throw in just a thin line of yellow to enhance their names and numbers.
Irvin_cowboy stop hating on the Steelers. Most every response from you is anti-Steeler. Stop harping over the SB run of o5'. It reflects poorly on the other fans that support the Dallas Cowboys. Slow down and enjoy the season. Let it go buddy!!!

#1 - Seattle Seahawks - puke green with pee yellow trim
#2 - San Diego Chargers - powder blue versions are horrid
#3 - Tennessee Titans - they look more like an arena team than a real NFL franchise.

Gonna limit myself to primary home uniform's only. (way too many to list if we go to the thirds)
First, for the people knocking the Browns, I agree that they are ugly, but like the equally blah Colts uniforms, they are very classic, and for some reason, in football I like that (probably why I love Notre Dame and Penn ST. uni's also)
The one I think is the worst has to be the Jets. To me it is the LSU of pro-ball. (Sorry to you LSU fans, great team, great tradition, but ugly uni, and the most hideous helmet in college)
After that, I have to say the Miami "Vice" Dolphins with their faded out mid-Eighties pastels.
It could be worse though. Anyone remember the old Bucs, Pats, Broncos, and Oilers uniforms? Now those were just plain fugly.

The old Tampa Bay Buccaneers uniforms were HIDEOUS! Bright orange, it makes my eyes hurt just remembering them. Anything with orange or brown as a main color in an NFL uniform is just plain wrong.
That's my 2 for 2.

The New York Giants 3rd uniform (Bright Red and Dark Blue)is the ugliest. The only way to improve it is to burn it and start over.
