His character sucks, most of the time he's just a justified jerk... think the show would be better off without him?

Devon got real "uppity" all of a sudden....what happened to that sweet young boy we used to know, and look at Lily lately, she needs a personality transplant.........I agree with the other YA....and we all know it to be so true......the writing on Y&R is in shambles, and it shows!!!!!

I think it's sick how Devon is lusting after his sister Lily.
I really don't like the direction the Y&R is taking with the character of Devon.

No. There are worst characters to worry about than Devon (ie: Jana, Adrian). I've liked Bryton as an actor every since he played on Family Matters. He's emmy worthy & capable of producing quality work. I just wish they'd hurry up & stop wasting his talent & give him a real good storyline of his own.

He doesn't have a true link to any plots happening. He's just at Newman handling business meetings at the ripe age of 19 or 20? Give me a break...

I've never understood the reason for him being on the show.
Also dont know very many families that would take in a foster child who was so close in age to your own child, but be of a different sex. I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt ship him off to some faraway school only to return as a 30 yo lawyer or something.

No. His character must not suck that much since he won a daytime Emmy. He just needs a storyline. That should be coming up soon from what I understand.

Yes i'm tired of him..even though he's got an Emmy his character is a waste of airtime..it'd be better if he left but i can think of a few ppl who I'd like to see go before him (Cane & Amber)

Personally, I am sick of all the self-righteous character story lines; there are some characters who think they are just it and in reality they are just nothing. this entire show has become ... well.... what's the word I am thinking of ..... oh, yes.

Yes, I don't like the way he has become so righteous, like he is so good and all-knowing... does he forget where he came from and how the Winters' tried to help him AND his addict mom??? He just got a lucky break, period!

I am not sick of him, but there does need to be more depth to his character. Right now he is just another character and he is boring. No real drama in his life: no girlfriend, no scandals, nothing. He is just there.
