Its been like that my whole life. When I was in 5th grade people would be like so what grade are you in first, second? Then when I would say fifth they would like almost go into shock. Part of the problem is that Im short and I look really young. Both my parents are the same way. My mom is 45 and she gets carded all the time when she buys beer. I went out to a resturant with my friends and we decided to get a pitcher of margituas and when I got carded they had to take my id to the manager! I was so fricken embarrassed! It pisses me off all the time. Will I ever look my age? Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Some people say its good because they say I will always look young. But I dont always want to be young and cute. Will I ever look my age?

I completely understand. I am 26 and I am always mistaken for 17 or 18. It can be very frustrating. I try to always make a joke of it and have fun with it. Someone once told me to be careful what I wish for because one day it will catch up with me. The way I figure, when I am 40, while all my friends will look their age, I will be content to know I can pass for early thirties!!

Half the population of the world would kill to look younger than their age. Cosmetics and cosmetic surgery is a multi-billion dollar industry. You should be happy you have such a marvelous genetic heritage.

Change the way you look and dress.
As in wearing a suit and tie.
Start a beard or mustache.

Or get married and have kids. They will make you age.

I have the same problem. My friends tell me it's a blessing but I don't like it too much. I've learned to deal with it and you will too eventually. When you get older you'll be thankful.

Grow some facial hair, if it comes in OK. One of those little goatees or soul patches may help.
