I just want to know if people think that you are weird or something because when I am writing some people that dont know me stare at me like "wtf?" and some say "wow you are a lefty?" Well and one more thing, what is the percentage for left handed people like 1 out "_" people are leftys. Thanks in advance.

Not at all. A significant proportion of lefties have brain functions that are less lateralized than is the case with right-handers. That means that, if someone like that has a stroke that affects one side of the brain, he or she might still have those functions unaffected in the other half. As well, lefties have to be adaptable: they're living in a world that is literally not designed for them.

You should try and watch an episode of "In the Womb" from National Geographics channel...I watched the episode of multiples in the womb, they said that when someone is a lefty it was very likely they were going to be a twin. They said that sometimes the mothers body does not have enough nutrients (or whatever it is the fetus/baby needs to develop) to support both babies, therefore, the body automatically chooses the strongest of the 2 and develops only one baby. It said something about the one that usually survives is the lefty...I dont know why? but thats what the scientists/doctors said .......Anyway, it was an interesting show you should watch it! =)

There's not a single thing wrong with it. I'm a lefty and luckily didn't get much of that. I did have one teacher that was delighted to have a lefty in her class when I was still in elementary school but otherwise never did get any special attention for it, good or bad.

There's nothing wrong with it. I'm a leftie and proud of it.
Though, I have had people give me a weird look when they noticed.
10% or 1 out of 10 people is left-handed.

RUKidding?! Left-handers like us are much more creative than "righties." Perhaps you're being too sensitive. I'm the only southpaw in my family and no one has ever looked at me strange because of the hand I used to write with. Maybe it's just different and some people find that interesting.

No, there is nothing wrong with being left handed. What is wrong is that people consider it abnormal. While there are certain things, such as driving a vehicle, where you don't have a choice about being right or left handed, there are many things where it doesn't matter one iota.

10% of the world is left-handed I believe. I am not sure why people would get surprised about it.

u were probably a twin in the early stages of pregnancy....
when people have twins one is uaually left handed and one right handed.... studies have shown..... and my teacher confirmed it..... ur not weird, ur special.... ask your mom if u were a twin.... she probably didn't know either....
