Got back from class today to notice that my monitor on my desktop was blank. The monitor's power is on, but the light on it is blinking as though nothing was connected. The monitor works, I hooked it up to my laptop and got it to turn on perfectly. My PC is starting up, I even hear the chime sound of Windows turning on. No errors that I can find, but its hard to diagnose without any visual. The Video Card is about 6 months old, good condition, not overclocked, extra fan. Was working fine yesterday.

Most boards have a VGA connection. Have you thought about connecting the monitor to that and see if works?

Hi. Try removing the card and cleaning the contacts gently. Reinsert and see if it is better. Good luck!
