No such thing as karma, but you do get back what you put out.
You should respect your mother and her opinion. She has a lot more life experience than you do and so she knows more than you do. She loves you and she is trying to guide you and do what is best for you. You should listen to her, the bible says a wise child takes counsel from their parents.
There are many older people who will tell you, they wished they had listened to their parents, because if they had they wouldn't have made so many bad decisions and then had to suffer the consequences for them.
You will not be home with your mother for much longer, you are growing towards becoming an adult and moving away to start your own life. You should cherish every moment you have with her.

There is no such thing as karma. Take it from us who are older and wiser. My mom died at 69 when I was 35, and I'm 46 now and miss her incredibly. I am the fifth child of six in our family, and so she only knew my son til he was 4 - and missed out on lots because she died so young. I still can't believe some days I just can't call her on the phone to chat or ask her advice!
Don't fight with your mom - cherish your mom, and your dad. They have your best interests at heart. Make each day count, and regrets are crap.

There are no "degrees" of karma. What goes around comes around, what you put out is what you will get back three fold.

There's no such thing as Santa Claus, gremlins, ghosts, a *science* called astrology, nor karma.
