Hi, go to c:\documents ans settings and right click your account folder and click properties...
In general tab click on advanced and tick the option " encrypt contents to secure data" and then click apply to all
If your father is professional in computers, he can reset ur password and log in using your credentials, also be careful if you delete your account by mistake, you won't be able to open these files any more even if you create a new account with the same name...
Regards

You need to go to Start, Control Panel, User Accounts and set up an account and password just for yourself. Keep your password a secret and no one but you will get to log into your things. Of course if your Dad has a problem with this, then you must give it up.

Your Dad is the system administrator on this computer. He has access to the computer and files. That's the way it is, save up your money and get your own. But even doing that, your Dad may still be looking over your shoulder. Stay away from sites that you don't want to be found looking at. good luck.

Use this one program:
http://www.vipdefense.com/products/vip_files_protector/index.html
It's VIP Files Protector. This program will help you not only to protect your personal files with password, but also will hide it :)
Download it and try.
