Everyone deals with such things differently. "they" say a lot of things that don't apply to everyone.

who ever she gets at that point will be a transition guy to get her mind off the divorce. Some people cant be alone and that's why the date so soon after wards. Its a good idea to be alone for awhile after something like that, not only to get to know yourself but also to evaluate why the marriage didn't work and what you can do to make yourself a better person. I was alone at least 7 months after my separation and that guy isn't the guy I'm married to now.

Go ahead and date. Just do not get anyone pregnant! We will not need anymore strippers or criminals in 18 years.

It is her means of coping up. She may still be suffering inside but she is trying to move on.And I guess she is trying to send a message to you by letting you know she is happy. Move on as well.

She's looking for booty, my friend, not a relationship. My advice is to get back out there yourself and start living your life.

she is trying to stay busy and avoid lonliness, can't blame her for that.
meeting new ppl is a good way to "get to know yourself".
probably all the ppl she knows already remind her of you.

I think that it is ok to date as long as you understand and makeit clear to the other person what you want.
