has anyone else had this happen...your tampon is full of urine after you go the bathroom and then leaks all day? I'm not 12 years old and I'm being serious...I don't remember this happening before...and I don't want to change it everytime I have to go.

I didn't have this problem until Tampax came out with their "upgrade". They call it an anti-leak "skirt". I call it a urine magnet. I think it's their way of selling more tampons. (If it's full, it's gonna leak, so you have to change it.) Anyway, when this box is used up, I'm gonna "downgrade" to another brand.

The urine is just on the string, not in the tampon. Try holding the string away from the urine flow and see if that helps.

Tampons should only collect blood! Perhaps you need to stop using tampons and start using pads. I can't even tell you that you're putting the tampons in wrong. See your doctor. What you're describing, I've never, ever heard of, nor experienced. I've used tampons for many years, and I've never pulled one out that was even a little bit wet from urine.

If your tampon is in far enough, it shouldn't get any urine in it. The string only gets so much on it. I pee multiple times with the same tampon in and I've never seen or felt urine in my tampon.

The string on the tampon is nothing more than a wick. If it comes in contact with your urine stream, it is going to absorb urine which will then "wick" into the tampon itself. Keep the tampon string out of your urine stream.

Okay, be serious.

When you pee, the urine stream passes directly over your vagina and thus the tampon.

Think about how much your tampon is meant to hold - now think about how much urine you're expelling - a whole bunch more!!

The tampon becomes super saturated and can't hold it all.

I don't know about anyone else, but I only *don't* change my tampons when it's an emergency and I don't have another one available. I feel loads cleaner afterwards!

Your health is very important change it every time and don't be lazy you shoul dspeak to a doctor if you have concerns. Your urine does not run over your tampon so it should not be full of urine at all ever.
