How would you ask your doctor for a prescription for weed?

You should be able to just ask him any ol time you go to the doctor. People use medical cannabis for anorexia all the time. It works and it's healthier than most meds they give you. A lot of family physicians support medical cannabis so you can say you have tried other things that don't work for you like cannabis does. If your doctor doesn't agree with giving his/her patients a prescription for cannabis then there are other doctors that you can go to that will give you a referral. Doctor's are respectful of your choice of medication so bring it up in a mature way and see what he says. Ask people around your area who have medical cannabis scripts and see where they went and maybe they can help you a little more or at least give you a referral to a doctor who supports it.

the weed. You can get the pill which helps many medical
conditions, but has no "high".
Then there is the real thing

the state says it's okay to

he'd give you other type of alternatives, and find out why it is that you keep on losing weight.

You're in a state that has the most liberal medical marijuana laws. I would approach it from two angles -- your chronic pain and your lack of appetite.

First you need to know if your doctor even believes in medical marijuana, and tell him your having problems sleeping and you also have an appiette problem and you need him to prescribe yopu some drugs, but tell him you don't want anything addictive (weed isn't addicitve) and you want something all natural.

BEFORE you ask for the weed (wich might not be such a good thing for your body...) ask him/her if he/she has any other methods of increasing appitite and keeping on the weight. If your docter says no (wich he/she probably wont) then say "i think im losing too much weight and i dont think its healthy....do you think weed would help that?" And if he/she says yes then ask for a persciption. GOOD LUCK!!!!

haha...funny, hey doc I am getting skinny can u prescribe some weed so I get the munchies,,,lol...not sure where u r from but that don't fly here in fl. May I suggest you start lifting weights? That usually makes people want to eat like a horse...p.s. nice paint job... :)

most will buy what you just said. why? DOCTORS GET PAID ALOT OF MONEY HANDING OUT PRESCRIPTIONS LIKE THIS AND SO THEY DOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! well at least in cali mostly. Also who ever said you don't eat alot when you have the munchies OBVIOUSLY has NEVER SMOKED POT!
