Hi,
I would like to convert to Christianity from Judaism.
I feel, there is more freedom in Christianity than any other religion, to be satisfied with life.

Well, you are right, if freedom to you means doing anything you like without being responsible for the consequences, then practicing Christianity seems like a good bet.

However, there is certain realities you need to keep in mind. 1/ You are a Jew. Judaism does not recognize conversion out of Judaism, once a Jew always a Jew. So whether you practice Judaism or not, you will still be held responsible for your actions under Jewish Law by G-d. 2/ You are a Jew. Christianity will always consider you a turn-coat Jew and not trust you. No matter what you do, you will remain a Jew in their minds. Just look at what Germany did. 3/ You are a Jew. You have a neshumah, a Jewish soul. It will never let you rest until you go home. You really shouldn't convert to a religion based on what it permits or prohibits you to do. Every religion has variations--some denominations are strick and by-the-books, while others are liberal and almost free-thinking.

I understand the importance of having a religious label, but first, you must identify your true beliefs and values (regardless of what religion permits them) and then focus on finding a specific faith.

So, before you convert, ask yourself this question: for me, will Christianity be a label or a lifestyle?

It depends what part of Christianity you want to become part of.
