Never feed based on pinches. That's a horrible way to measure anything, how much is a pinch? It's different for everyone.

Feed your fish all they can eat up in about 4-5 minuites twice a day. After just a few days to a week you'll be able to tell just how much that is.

That all depends on the condition of the tank, but if in doubt, drop in an algea disk. You can buy packs of them at any store that sells fish food, and they last a while. If you notice the algae eaters nibbling on the disks it means they don't have anything else to eat.

Oh, and more than likely they are common plecostami.
