Well i don't know what you mean by when you were young because i'm not old I'm still very much young, young in age and in heart, even when I get to be 40, 70, 90 and 110 if still alive I will be young at heart, i'm afraid I am a kid at heart and always will be right now I feel like i'm only 14 and yes I still love to listen to music, still sings it out loud to the top of my lungs and still dances around with the broom or mop uhh did I say that out loud oh well I still let loose so to speak. I love music it is a big part of my life and always will be. I love to party and have fun and right now I've having a party nearly every night since my vacation started. having a great time with my friends and boyfriend. my slogan for my vacation is to party till my legs give out and then party alittle bit more, of course no drinking and driving of course that's why I hired a bus shuttle service for. safety first and party till you can't no more. hope you are having fun too, p.s. I hate to say it but that person who said that youth doesn't last forever is right in most cases my older sister use to party alot now she doesn't do anything anymore, not me as I get older I'm still going to have fun even though i'm in my 20's I'm getting my second tattoo in a little while, i'm traveling , doing things i thought I would never do but like I said i'm not going to be boring, i might get older but you do have a choice to still have fun and I think the answer is to stay young at heart. c u

Yes! I loved music when I was a kid! I would listen to the radio all day & I'd try to record my favourite songs on tape (we've come a long way since then!) & I'd be so excited when they came on. Even though the dj was sometimes talking over the beginning of it or at the end.

Some of my favourites as I was growing up (showing my age now!) were:

"Whip it" Devo
"Another One Bites the Dust" Queen
"Rapture" Blondie
"Refugee" Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

I had my little transister radio outside in the tent with my friend. Or we'd dance in the garage or on the porch. Or we'd put on little musicals in the garage (the garage door made a great curtain!) Playing records too on my little pink record player, playing tapes on my tape recorder or just playing my little radio. (I remember dancing to Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" in the garage and out on the street! "I remember when Rock was young, me and Suzy had so much fun...La, la la la la la...") Those were the days! I always sang along. Or I'd sing acapella. My dream was to be a singer. I'm still pursuing that dream. These days I write my own songs & play guitar. I haven't lost my love for music. I always have the tunes cranked on the stereo especially when I'm driving with the window rolled down & I love when my favourite songs come on!

Reading between the lines of your letter, what do you classify as old?

What did YOU do when YOU were young. Us older, over-the-hill types probably did much the same thing as you are doing now - only, of course, we did it with style, élan and a tiny hint of exaggeration :D

When younger, we probably asked our elders a similar range of questions, did the same insanely stupid things and got exactly the same answers too. (Everything changes - except the results!)

Enjoy your youth - it doesn't last nearly quite as long as you think it does.

I spent many hours of my life on a trapeze , it took me away from things , gave me something to focus on , built me a stong body , with strong bones. It was something I did well and felt free in . And it brings back good memories.
