A golf club. It's amazing what damage one of those things can do. They're light enough for anyone to swing and not that easy to grab, and they're not considered a weapon so you don't have to register or license it.

Grab the first thing you can, like a lamp, vase, broom. Anything in reach and swing like h--l.
