i have polycystic ovaries but it hasnt affected the regularity of my periods, so my ability to conceive hasnt been affected. My sister has PCOS and her periods are very irregular and that has meant she has had problems conceiving children.

My understanding is that as long as your periods are regular, you shouldnt have any more problems than anyone else - but I could be wrong on this.

I have poly cystic ovarian syndrome and YES it is very difficult to conceive but it is possible. My husband and I tried for 3 years after I was diagnosed and we did get pregnant. Between the time of diagnoses to the birth of my daughter, I had 3 miscarriages. You have to get healthy and lose any excess weight you may be carrying before you really have a good chance of getting pregnant. You may still have a regular period because from experience that is not affected by this syndrome. Good Luck

I have poly cystic ovaries and endometriosis, but have had no problems conceiving 3 times. I think the endometriosis has gone now too since giving birth 3 times.
