I feel so bad for construction workers, landscapers, garbage men, etc.. that is so sh!tty to have to work out in this heat...

I don't know what the rules of maternity leave are in the US, but I think you're entitled to start maternity leave at 24-26 weeks. I could be wrong though. If your doctor will not write a note for you, try and go to a clinic or see another doctor. If this is not possible, just keep bugging the doctor until you get your note. I wouldn't think it would be good for you to work past 24-26 weeks if you're already having a hard time. Hope you can sort something out.

I agree. I made a run to the bank for work and I couldn't believe how hot it was! I feel for all the outside workers today. TGIF at least. :)

Asphalt whether on a roof or on a highway has to suck. Indoors without enough air would have to be a dry cleaners.
