I've been really bored lately, anyone have any ideas on something new and different I could try? Any hobbies or something that's interesting. But please, nothing mainstream, I want something new and exiting!!

Wow, you really left yourself open for this one. Hmmm, but you did say nothing illegal, so that knocks a bunch of things off the list.
Learn to roller skate/ blade, learn to play a card game with your friends or make one up, try base bungee jumping with bungee cords from the walmart, see how many times you can run into a tree at full steam before you pass out or have to go to the hospital, see how long you can stand on one foot with your head tipped back and your finger on your nose, learn to play billards, find out who is running for President and why, look up your state representatives and senators and write them letters, look for a particular classic car you like and try and find a junker one to fix up, learn how to use a yo yo, clean the fridge, do the dishes, see if you can stop a ceiling fan with your tonuge, learn how to walk on your hands, see how far you can run without puking, go from briefs to boxers or boxers to briefs, learn to play dungeons and dragons, call all the friends you have tell them you're coming over in ten minutes and then hide in the basement, figure out the rules for cricket, go to a movie and hum the theme to hawaii five O and see how long it will take before you get kicked out, listen to your favorite songs backwards to find satanic messages, find god, find jesus, go talk to your neighbor, go to the store in a tank top and thong and see if anyone says anything,
The list goes on and on.

Are RPG's too mainstream for you?
I play DnD once a week, and I'm involved in a Live Action game every Sunday night.
These are the past times once reserved for the deeply geeky...but they're more acceptable than they used to be, so maybe that makes them too mainstream for your desires.
