You know how some people say your name reflects who you are as a person, I was just wondering whether you feel your name reflects who you are.

No. Jessica is much to common and a lot of people seem to relate it to a mean popular girl. I am none of those. And I'd never want to be. I like to think I'm unique and I'm quite proud of my lack of popularity and I try to be nice to everyone I meet.

I don't know, sometimes i think it suits me other times i see people who have the same name and i feel like it suits them much better than it dose me.

Sometimes the way i feel is that, because my parents named me after my grandmother, it just feels like I'm re-using someones old name, like they haven't actually thought about my personality and what name would be able to 'showcase' it the best.

But also when you think of yourself with another name you feel a bit odd, because by now, people are so used to it being 'theirs' that they can't imaging being called anything else, i guess your own name kinda grows on you after a while.

That's Just My Opinion Though,
Hope I've Helped!~
:]

My parents... well my grandmother... chose the right name. And it's just a name. It's not a characteristic that defines who you are. I don't think a "given" name is something that reflects who you are. I think a NICK-name does that. :) My nickname is Diva, which is a derivative of my real name. Both my nickname and my given name suit me just fine. :)

No!! My Mom made up a name for me...I hated it. Parents should think of how a name will affect the child when selecting one. I was teased about my name all thru grade school...finally changed it...was the best thing I did.

No one can pronounce my name right, but I still like it. I've never met a single person with the same name as mine

I suppose so...I found it ironic that my name means "the listener" particularily since I spend more time listening to people talk to me than I ever spend speaking in return...I feel like a giant ear sometimes

I guess it does I'm not as bubbly as most of the Heather's that I know. The only reason I got this name is because my dad had the hot's for Heather Locklear.
