Mapp gas will burn hotter than a propane torch -- costs a bit more but worth it for loosening rusted bolts. Hardware stores or home centers sell it along with propane torch kits for around 30.00-50.00 You may have to go with a regular oxy-acetylene type torch if the bolt/nut is really rusted---you can buy small kits at Sears, welding supply companies or home centers that come with all the equipment and two small oxygen and acetylene bottles for 200.00-300.00. You'll want to read the instructions very well and familiarize yourself with it on some scrap metal before working on some thing that's more important. Take all safety precautions necessary.
