When a phone says its wifi....?

does that mean that the internet is built into it wihtout you having to pay for their service?

it depends where you are, if you are at home using a wireless router or outside using free public wifi then yes, it's free but in other places, cafe's or bars for example then they could charge you for using their wifi

No it means that it can connect to the Internet via other existing wireless networks just like a laptop.

no its means it picks up and wireless internet signals...i believe...
