Just plug it into a USB port and in My Computer(Click start to find it ) it will list it as a removable drive F or G or something then click on folders and on the left side find your pictures and drag and drop into the drive, you will know if somethings going onto the drive because a little light on the drive will blink as its loading then click on the drive letter and see if your pics are there, they will now be in two places ( on your hard drive and your portable ) you did not say how large the drive is but typically a picture takes about 2 megs for ea. shot and there are a 1000 megs in a gig.
Good Luck

It is actually rather easy.
you take the USB memory (usually looks almost like a key chain) and put it into a USB port (rectangle looking port either in the front or back of a desktop computer or on the sides possibly on a laptop)
After that you just use it like any other storage ... it will show up as another hard drive.
When you are ready to go someone simply take it out and you are on the go!

Plug USB stick into PC USB slot. Wait a moment for it to say "Device ready to use"
Open "My Computer" see a new drive there ? Good
Copy or drag files to the new drive at leaisure and delete once done.
Click the small green arrowey thing near the clock, and choose "Safely remove "name of usb device" to ensure data safely stored before it's removal

This should be easy so
Take off the cap - if it has one - or press the button to pop out the USB connector (depends what type you bought). Gently push it into a USB socket and you should then get a little window pop up asking what you want to do - choose the one that says open a folder.
Now you need to go to the folder where your picks are saved - select and highlight the ones you want then go to edit and copy - switch back to the folder that shows your USB stick and go to edit and paste. Take out your stick and away you go :-)
If any of that isn't clear then mail me (see my profile)

It is not clear what you are proposing. If you need a USB chord for a portable memory storage device, it should have come with the product.

You plug the drive into an available usb port on the computer and it will appear as a drive in MY COMPUTER. Just copy the files onto it as you would any other drive.

Plug-and-play!
Plug it into any USB port on your pc & it'll appear as a 'drive' in My Computer. (It'll probably open as a Window when you plug it in aswell).
Just click & drag anything you want into that Window/Drive & it'll save it to the memory stick.
Away-to-go!
(It'll perform a setup first time you use it in any new machine, but it only takes a sec!)
