there is a container full of jelly with a sharp like hollow stick on the front you take the donut in your hand and push the donut onto the stick as u are doing this, you push a long bar underneath it and the jelly comes out and fills the donut sounds easy but u have to do it just right so the spear goes thru the middle of the donut the machine is set at the exact amount of jelly my friends and i used to overfill the donuts just to see them explode lol u use a smaller spear to fill the munchkins

We don't put jelly in doughnuts. Never seen it, anywhere.
In fact, it would probably be a pretty ghastly confection... wibble-wobble doughnuts, ugh!

Other fillings such as Jam, Fruit Purees and Custard (Tescos are good) are injected with a syringe device at the bakery.

They have a device that they stick into the donut and inject jelly. Like a big jelly syringe.

At Krispy Kreme they have a machine that holds the jelly or creme and it has like a big needle shaped piece that you press the doughnut on and it squeezes the jelly or creme into the doughnut.

If you're doing it at home I would try a pastry bag with a good sharp tip.
