please someone help me with converting videos?

READ ALL BEFORE YOU ANSWER!!!

i have a movie on my computer its about 700mb and its in wmv format and the resolution is to big i want to make it so it fits into my psp. ive downloaded like 10 converting programs and all of them get an error when i try to convert this video im getting so pissed off cuz i thought this would be so easy. i dont even really need to change the format what i really need is just to make the resolution smaller please help??

P.S. i dont want psp video 9 it doesnt work rite

If it's a WMV file it could simply be that it's a protected file, and hence will be almost impossible to convert. If you have something that can do WMV to DVD format, create a DVD folder set to encode to VOB files on hard drive, then CloneDVD mobile should do the DVD to PSP convertion no problem.

As I said though, if it's a protected WMV, give up !

As you want to convert video and make the resolution smaller, I recommend you to try Daniusoft Video Converter which I used well now.
It could convert almost all popular videos in a good quality. And you can adjust the convert settings such as "frame rate" and "bit rate" to make the resolution smaller.
