Why is it that people that don't even read the bible only talk about believing in the bible when it comes bashing homosexuals? Stating that homosexuality is a sin in the bible and that all homosexuals will go to hell. How do these people know this? They obviously have no knowledge of the bible or even their so called religion. I have been raised to be a Christian and although I don't go to church that often, I believe in God. First learn about your religion and study what is said in the books and then go around telling people they are living their lives in the wrong way. Who is to say what is right? Who is to say what is normal? All of these things are really starting to annoy me. Tell me where it says "homosexuality is a sin" in the bible. Provide me with page numbers and sections and I will read and tell you I am wrong if I am. Thank you.

Read the part in the bible about Sodom and Gamora, that is in the old testament I believe. That whole section is on homosexuality, it talks about how God destroyed the two cities because of it. They didn't want to obey God's word so he torched everything they had. The two cities were demolished into nothing, but dirt. so, yeah homosexuality is wrong. You won't go to hell though if you repent of your sins and ask God to forgive you. And make sure he is in your heart. I myself don't live that way anymore but was raised in it. I have my own beliefs now they are complex.

Leviticus. Romans. and several other books all say that homosexuality is wrong. If you were raised to be a christian then you know that the bible enjoins you to read the Word Of God and commit it to your heart.. Try it.

For some odd reason, religious right fundamentalists see us as being a threat to their stale old way of life. They want "Leave it to Beaver". What they don't realize is that even within the heterosexual community, that way of life died in the 50s.
We are just a convenient catchall for all the ills of the world. For now. But there are those out there fighting this. Keep hope. One day people will wake up and realize that they are wrong.
The more they keep talking, the more they keep hanging themselves :)

Also, lots of those verses are mistranslated. All 4, yep all 4 verses on homosexuality, actually there's only 3 really specific ones. And there all mistranslated. I know, I can't believe there's 4/3 either! I mean compared to the 47 on adultery, wow, homosexuality must be a huge sin.

I believe it is a death penalty offence in the old testament.
Leviticus 3:18--20 In the old testament.
1 Timothy 1:10--Homosexuals (those "that defile themselves with mankind") are included on the list of lawless, disobedient, unholy, and profane people. 1:10. In the new testament.
