I believe Helloween could be considered one of the greatest underrated bands and I'm not too sure about overrated. What do you think?

Most underrated: I think of an English band: Montrose and
as far as most overrated, Well depends on your taste. In
college in 1977 I loved Styx and Dr. Hook. In college in
1982, a roommate loved ELO. I do'nt but their good.

I think Collective Soul is horribly underrated, they had some great songs that were just not given the radio time or credit that they deserved.
Edit: Overrated would have to be Linkin Park, if I wanted to be yelled at for 3 minutes at a time I would drive to my Mother's house. :o)
And Oasis...their early work was great, but they just really suck eggs now.

hyped up: Bruce Springsteen has constantly regarded way hyped as much as me. i've got no longer heard one song that made me think of i'm going to be incorrect the two, he purely would not provoke me, no longer something new or exciting, purely variety of there. Underrated: i'm going to stay with extra moderen bands when you consider that maximum underrated old bands have exceedingly extensive underground cult followings now. against Me - incredibly have the entire acoustic punk factor down extra helpful than everyone i've got ever heard, and their electric powered punk is catchy as hell. i'm going to think of of extra later probable.

underrated: Black 'n Blue, White Lion(anyone who's heard Cry for Freedom or their cover of Radar Love knows what i mean)
overrated: the Beatles(if one more person tells me they were a rock band i'll have to knock 'em out with a Stones or Zeppelin cd)......they're a outright pop band

Underrated-Fountains of Wayne (they did that song Stacy's Mom) they never caught on for their other work and it is better than that one song.
Overrated-Linkin Park. Their first album was good, and a bit edgy, but their next album was... too much the same, and lacked the "new" feel the original had. And with their new album, they descended totally into worthless with trying to go political. Why not just alienate everyone that got you famous...
