I'm bummed! The only shot to get rid of my roommate was to get him on this show and now that isn't going to happen. He'd never last on Survivor and is showing no interest in getting a meaningful job and joining society. Rats I say. Rats indeed.

The bad news is that it is only the next celeb one that is being cancelled but they are planning one for 2009. The good news is that some other reality shows are being scrapped . Can't remember which at the moment. Funny that this coincides with the phone vote scam or am I just being cynical?

The test is will people still fund the causes in another way or were the people involved just in it to raise their profile and actually not really interested in raising money for the needy at all.

It is common sense that the money it takes to make the program could just be donated to the causes direct.

I am so glad this drivel is finally ending but knowing ch4 we will still be bombarded with best of shows & highlights for weeks yet (if there is any). I personnaly think it should have been scrapped after BB1. a friend said his daughter stayed up till 3am watching it..... sad or what.

Scraped? I take it you mean scrapped although scraped seems a good word when used in conjunction with Big Brother.
If ever television was scraping the barrel it did when they devised Big Brother.
As Mr Royle would say, " Reality TV my ****".

If they are getting rid of the Celeb one, then they have to get rid of the ordinary one too as well.
Yeow! Best news I have heard for ages - makes a change from floods and stabbings.

Hoooooray!! What we need are more cultural programmes on tv so that teenagers don't aspire to be on BB and become famous like the talentless morons that have already appeared. About time.

Excellent news. We may now get some decent television programs instead of the dummying down fodder.
