Because where she lives, 7 out of 10(the last three are married and in their early 20s) men(in millions) men treat women like sex objects and slaves. This is in the USA.

How can she get over her hatred when she's surrounded by negative men who torture strangers and women she knows?

it,s realy strange to know that somone is judging others according to their sex . we are all humans &every human have his own personality so u must judge every man separately according to his personality, thoughts &behaviour & stop general judgments based upon sex ,race ,colour or religion . the hate culture must die forever . we are supposed to be a more cevilised generation!!!. bottom line every human is responsible only of his own actions &belives not of the others who look like him in the outer shape. we have minds people so use it or we will be more close to animals or even worse

You simply seek out to those who don't and expand your circle. I was born in a third world country in which women had little rights and looked down upon, but even there you can find those who respect women and not treat them like slaves. Also, a woman can't be an object, if she doesn't want to. It doesn't matter how someone looks at you, the only thing that matters is how you look at yourself and allow other people's opinions to affect you.

Sounds like you have a pair of dark glasses on through which you see men or the things around you...take the glasses off and your vision will be much brighter and you'll see more beauties!

I'm sorry you feel this way. This is a patriarchal society. Some men are as you say. You may as well say you hate people, tho', because these men have mothers and sisters that raised them.
I can only say that men are not all as you describe. Protect your self and then cautiously look for exceptions to your description.
There is a whole spectrum of individuals- they deserve to be treated as individuals.

"she's surrounded by negative men who torture strangers and women she knows?"

That's bull****

Barely any dudes are like that, I think you're just oversensitive to it. You probably get mad when a girl calls you cry about her boyfriend and then you assume "oh men are so bad look what they're doing to all my friends"

Move. That's what I did.
Seriously, I'm not kidding.
If that's not possible, then just remember that they aren't all like the guys you know. Keep your humanity, and get out as soon as you can...

Are we from the same town?

If you form more close and comfortable relationships with other women your resentment toward men will diminish.

just go ahead and hate them for awhile, because sooner or later you will find a real nice man and you'll forget all this resentment for the time being....it always happens

Tell her that there's a whole world of happy non-feminist non man-hating women out there. Become one.

I believe it is all in the attitude. Most people get out of life (and other people) what they expect. Have you heard like attracts like?
