England is suppose to have some of the best players in the world with, Beckham, Owen, Rooney, Lampard, Gerard, Ferdinand so why are we not winning games? why are we struggling to qualify for europe & why isn't the rest of the world including Brazil fearing us?

There are too many foreign players in English football.Top teams would rather pay money for foreign players than wait for young English players to make the grade. The premier league is killing English football and will go the same way as Italian football did a few years ago.All players want now is money and more money. We will NEVER win anything till the set up changes,no matter who is the manager.

England are totally lacking any form of leadership on the fileld. MacLaren picked the best IX he has available, they started well, scored a goal, then didn't have clue what to do next.

A huge gap opened up between the front two and the rest. The midfield and backs were lacking the bottle to attack and score more. Any German side, even this 2nd XI, would love the chance to have all the space from the edge of their box, to the start of ours, to run at us.

Terry is a good stopper but is no captain, nor was Becks. We need an English Roy Kean to kick *** and get some of these prima donnas (yes you Lampard) to get their fingers out.

Because, honestly, England doesn't have many players that can be classified as some of the best in the world. outside of Rooney (when he's on form/not injured, etc) Gerrard and Terry (lampard is a fat git) England has very good players but not so many that they should be dominating world football. True, you should be doing better than you are as far as euro qualifying, but you just aren't that good.

All our top players are paid fantastic amounts of money at club level. The players are told should they get injured playing for England /not only will they be letting there club down but will also earn no wages. We will never win anything until we say goodbye to these useless England players and select a team from the next divisions from footballers who will play there Hearts out to gain football recognition.Players that want to win and make a name for themselves .they only want a chance .....say goodbye tu Beckham Owen.....Rooney Gerard ....Ferdinand ...Get rid of them...

yes, england sucks now... thats because the new stupid coach knocked David Beckham out of the team. Undoubtfully to say, David Beckham is one of the best players in the world. His accruracy on long passes, free kicks, and penelties saved many games for england that McClaren hasn't noticed. Right now, england is playing all the games on the floor.... from Robinson to Terry, to Lampard, THEN to Crouch.... this is not a style that Beckham will play.... if Beckham was here, the game would be Robinson to Beckham, and then all the way to Owen or Rooney... it would save soo much time and effort to pass the ball to the forwards... the reason McClaren kicked Beckham off the team was because he didn't want Beckham to be taking away the media from England. ... what a selfish idiot.... BRING BACK BECKHAM!!!!!!!

the problem you have is there are too many foreign players over here now and no young players are coming through academies because they are never given a chance because we are being undermined by the foreign influence a classic case is shaun wright phillips at chelsea i believe that if he had been given more of a chance he would have been a permanent england choice ,ever since he left manchester city his career has gone backwards because all he has become is a squad player he should have stayed at city for a few more seasons to help his england career progress and not be keeping the bench warm at chelsea

England need to put U21s in senior side.

Example

Leroy Lita had a great year for reading and was awesome with U21's

Agbonlahore.

He's U21's dangerman with a bit more expierence.

Theo Walcott

Not the best striker.BUT he's lightning fast down the wing. Was a failure in Germay.Mclaren needs to put him on the wing,

Nigel Reo-Coker
Expierenced midfeildier.Had a average year with West Ham last season. But he was the bomb for the U21's.He could teach the senior side a few tricks or two.

england have great individual players but i think they're too egotisticle to play well together. plus there's all the hype and expectation which puts the players under more pressure. as for the premier league, i think its becoming corrupt with all that money floating around there now and its wrecking the game

i think that the England team don't have as much a passion for the team as they do for their club. That's why they don't do as well internationally as they do in the club. The Premier League is probably in it's most exciting season. All the teams are getting better
