why do i feel like i'm the ugliest person in the world?

when i look at myself in the mirror, i immediately don't think that i'm ugly. but then i point out my worst features and realize that i look like a drag queen. how do i convince myself that i'm beautiful? ugh, low self-esteem sucks.

you're not ugly at all, and i can tell just by your question that you have a little lower self-esteem than you should. we all do at a certain period. you can either let it drag on for years or end it right now. (:
wear stuff that flaunts your body and stay away from people who makes you feel bad. don't go for a distorted role model like nicole richie. if you want, wear a bit of make up. anyway, true beauty is in the heart and not on your face. it may seem weird but it's perfectly true. look at your closest friends and you'll see why you kept THEM by your side. (:

There is power in your words and what you say to yourself. God can take your self-esteem problem and turn it into your strength, because then you would be able to help someone else. Speak the word of God. The Bible says that you are "FEARFULLY AND W O N D E R F U L Y MADE ~ That means You are PERFECT, because we are created in his image and He is Perfect ~ God doesn't make mistakes. What you are going through is an attack of the enemy read John chapter 10, the enemy comes to Steal (your joy, peace and love about yourself), Kill (your hopes, dreams, self-esteem) and destroy (the opportunity of you living a life of abundance). Tell yourself for 30 days you are Beautiful. Get completely naked in front of a mirror and tell yourself that you "Accept" every part of your body. If you don't like your nose and legs for example, say something like I accept this nose and legs God has given me and they are beautiful, gorgeous, pretty, whatever you want to say positive. I know you will start feeling different about yourself and best of all give that feeling to God, tell him exactly how you feel he knows you inside and out. He formed you in your mother's womb. I think every girl is like that. I get told im pretty all the time but when I look in the mirror i pick out every flaw.

Just remember that sometimes your flaws make you unique and actually attractive...like Kate Moss the super model, she has crooked nose and some of her teeth are jagged and crooked, but for some reason it just makes her more attractive. You probably are pretty, every girl does the same thing by picking out their flaws.

thats just it: you have low-self esteem! almost every girl does. tell your self that your beatiful and that one little thing you dont like about yourself is nothing compared to the rest of your features that are gorgous! just be positive and never put yourself down and soon you will be confident in your own skin!

everyone always finds something with themselves that they dont like...we are our own worst critic...try not to focus on the negatives but focus on the positives..and looks are not only what counts you have your personality too! everyone is beautiful but just in different ways
