You can't destroy the Earth!!! All my friends live there!

2x10^32 joules is a great deal of energy, but I don't know if that's how much would be required to destroy the planet. Where/how did you come up with that number?

thats far from it.. besides why would you want to anyway if u did that you'd kill yourself along with trillions of others thad destroy only possibly only 2 or 3 contenents.

i think it needs to be more than that, due to the fact that we have an iron core. better make it 2^10^42j if you want to destroy it.
