I have spiders in my basement. is there a specific spray or company of exterminators that u would recommend.... same question with ants also. any brands?

I have spider problems in my basement also and have spent lots of money on sprays and i finally found what works. I can't remember the name but this product is something you plug into your walls........it runs through our electrical current and the spiders, as well as all bugs hate this frequency. And whola, I only find an occasional dead spider!! You can find these at Home Depot centers or other home improvement centers.....a man working in the store had said that he is from Florida and they can't keep them in stock on the shelves they are so popular. They can run from about 7 bucks to 20..i believe Black and Decker is one brand.

For non-toxic ways to get rid of spiders try hedge balls. They're like a green fruit about the size of an orange. You can find them in the produce section for about 70 cents a piece. For some reason spiders hate them. Also spiders seem to hate dryer sheets like Bounce. I put a few around and have noticed fewer spiders.

Get rid of both of them at the same time by setting off some Raid Foggers in both the house and the basement.
Read and follow directions carefully, and remember the longer you keep the house closed after fogging the better.
I have read here that two people called fogging "messy" I have never found it to be messy. Not if you follow directions.
If ants come in later get Terro ant killer; It is great.

RE: a thank you to do away with spiders (various species) in and around abode? I purely moved into the lower back 0.5 of a house and that i've observed plenty spiders around the abode windows and backyard. Is there any ordinary answer to do away with them (different than fumigating)? uncertain in the event that they make specially spider traps. Any records is favorite - thank you.

I have a similar problem and I started using ORTHO HOME DEFENSE it's easy to find at any store.. Spray it inside/outside the perimeter of your home and that should keep any/all bugs away.... I also when I see the lil devils vacuum them up.... Or get them with the hose attachment... Good Luck
