Ok I want to go to the ymca but i want to get a membership how much dose it cost for a family membership and is there a 1 person membership and how much dose it cost?

It depends on where you live, I live in Oakland, Ca and I'm a YMCA member, my membership for just me is $60 a month.

I would say YMCA membership is better, because you get support from other people and you get to relate to them and all that lovely stuff. I never used a bowflex.... but i dont think it has a cardio machine strapped on to it. Cardio is essential for loosing weight. So.. if you run outside and do your cardio that way, i guess a bow-flex could do well. But it doesnt come with a trainer..which is allso VERY helpful. oh and another point: When the weather is not nice outside you can't do your cardio and you use that as an excuse. The YMCA always has the same weather conditions in that building so you won't have an excuse.
