Maybe it's just me, but I don't know why ESPN shows so much Little League World Series (LLWS). I think it's boring to watch a ton of games being played by 11 year olds. If I wanted to go watch kids play baseball, I would just go to any park on the weekend and watch a little league game. I realize that these are all-star teams or in some cases, the country's best little leaguers, but at the end of the day, they are still just kids. I'm not trying to knock the kids because I'm sure they're really talented, but so are the women in the WNBA, but that doesn't mean it's fun to watch.
I don't understand why they don't just show an MLB day game instead. Especially considering that the MLB season is beginning to heat up around this time of year with a lot of close divisional races. I'm just curious, do you watch the LLWS on ESPN? If so, why do you watch it? Do you prefer ESPN show these games instead of other sports being played by adults?

Some of you guys made a very good point by saying that kids like watching other kids play ball. I suppose if I were 11 years old, I would have more interest in watching.
As for those who suggested I just turn the channel... Well, that's exactly what I do, but that's besides the point. I remember when I was a kid, they would show the championship LLWS game between the top US team and another country's top team. Now days, ESPN shows nonstop LLWS for a couple of weeks or longer. I don't have a problem with them showing the final game, but do we have to have LLWS marathon everyday on ESPN?
