Will listening to good singers like Kelly clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Christina Aquilera help me learn to sing like them? Because if you stay around people with a certain acent you seem to develop that acent, so if i listen to there voices will my voice sound similar to singers?

Not really. You don't learn to read by sitting in the library. It will help, but unless you practice and know what you're doing (in terms of breath control and technique etc) then you're unlikely to get better just by listening to other people sing.

These days you can easily learn how to sing on the web . You can find here the best online singing video lessons:

The videos are very easy to follow and to my surprise extremely helpful even for advanced singers. For beginners I would have to say this is a gold mine. I was able to improve my singing, voice tone and range in just under two weeks and I am an advanced musician... Before I wanted to go to a singing teacher but that would have cost me over 1500 bucks .... every month! It's definitely too much for my possibilities! An online course is much cheaper, and I reached great results in a very short time! I strogly reccomend it to anyone that want to improve his/her singing skills and voice tune! I Hope it helps!

Well, if you're tone deaf, there's not much you can do about it, sorry. But If you've got an OK voice that needs training I suggest going to a vocal coach. Or you could join a metal band, they don't have to sing, they just scream a lot. ;-)

Well, it will teach you some tones to sing, but a voice is a voice, and you can't change it. Listening to an accent also, it won't be your accent, you will always maintain yours.

So..
I bought several online courses to improve my singing voice (I can't afford a vocal coach). This is a good one with loads of tips and vocal exercises http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=295

umm no.you have to actually sing.i know what you mean.like that gal on america's got talent that could sing like Lee Anne Rymes.she probably grew up mimicking her voice and that''s how she always trys to sing cause she's so used to singing that way.

Only if you have a good voice to start out with and one that has the potential to emulate their voices.
