I sorta thought that was the objective. Was I wrong?

Depending on the value of the item, the state of the porta potty and the washing facilities therein I'd probably pick it up/out- It's not like a latrine where it all drops into a pit or anything, everyone elses "stuff" is hidden until you flush, when it enters into the holding tank. In that sense, it's as clean as your toilet at home. Unless it's full of poop I'd say grab whatever you've dropped. Otherwise there's usually an attendant (either a rep. from the porta potty company or someone involved with them) who you can tell and they can go about.. retrieving it for you.

Are you kidding me? I always get back my stuff... LOL sorry about tipping it over. Cool, after i wash up I scored a bracelet, a ring, and a wallet. What did I drop? A old pair of sunglasses but the wallet had enough money in it to buy a new pair so I through it back in. Hey there is 3 more next to it. Hmmmm ROFLMAO...

My canteen when I was in the military. I got into so much trouble because I wouldn't get it. Not to mention I couldn't drink anything for the remainder of the time we were in the woods. I've learned my lesson: Never use port-o-potties again!

You can...
1) use a grasper arm. Buy one at the medical store or toy store. or
2) You can contact the port-a-potty company. The phone number is usually located on the port-a-potty itself & they can filter the sewage for you. However, expect the harsh chemicals to stain whatever it is you dropped.
Do this quickly as the port-a-potty's are cleaned depending on their use/location.

i dropped a ring in one but i just left it there.
the best thing to do is just leave it there because porta potties are so gross!

At a fair when I was little, I dropped a feathered hair clip(which I now know was actually a roach clip-lol) and I had such a cow my Grandma fished it out.

I didn't drop anything, but I found a kitten in one once, that some sick son of a gun did. The kitten was rescued.

ugggghh I have never used one but if I did and that happened I think I might just leave it. They tend to be a little on the nasty side.
