Be careful. At the beginning they can be very friendly, even obliging, but after a while, and having already taken advantage of you, they become either indifferent (that's the best possibility) or hostile.

unfortunately I agree with Dellarovere. I would absolutely hate for anyone to class me as a rascist and I try and stop people from people being so prejudiced against them.
Lets just say they are a type of people who are very sort of 'tight circle'. They are very nice as friends, but I do not know of one relationship that an Albanian has had with a non-Albanian that hasnt turned nasty sour.
In some cases race doesnt mean a thing, and in others it really does... more in the sense of different traditions and social expectations. I am Australian/English and Im married to a Greek man on a small island. And here the statistics are very bad for relationships with foreigners. And I think 1 in 2 marriages end in divorce with the Greek-foreigner marriages.
Just be careful, but if you love him, go for it with all your heart.

I've kinda been in the same situation with you a few years back.I liked a guy from Albania and he liked me.I decided not to go any further with it.The main reason was the same you are having.I was wondering what people,my family would say...and then I realized that if I was thinking like that even before I started something with him i shouldn't do it.Cause if you really love the other you really don't care about other people's opinions. If you do,your feelings for that other person aren't strong enough and it isn't fair, both to you and him.I don't agree with what most people say here, that Albanians are bad or want to take advantage of you.And I certainly don't agree with the opinion that a marriage/relationship of a Greek with a foreigner is more likely to fail than the one of a Greek with a Greek(being a "product" of such a mixed marriage myself).Yes there are more problems, and there are sure things both sides might never understand of each other but if the love is strong it really doesn't matter.
My opinion is:If you have to ask yahoo answers users of their opinions you don't feel sure about this relationship(for whatever reasons) and you should stop seeing him.You should always be sure about your relationship or else it can never work out...

No. I am not a racist, but you will encounter problems, and so will he. Teh cultural backgrounds are totally different. He may be a very good guy, but when families and society get involved you will both feel awkward. I don't know if your relationship can survive those problems, if you have doubts already.

I dont know...With the albanians i would be very reserved..You must see first if he really loves you or if he has the purpose to be with you to improve his situation. This doesnt mean of course that the guy must be bad...But in any case, be careful, and check well...the important is...then...not now....
Good luck
