...resist being any other color than it's natural color?

Mine does! My hair doesn't like being anything other than blond...everything else just washes out!

Does this happen to anyone else?

I had low lights put in professionally to give my hair some dimension...and they washed out after 6 weeks...

I can't dye my hair, because the dye either washes out, or only certain parts of my hair will take the dye...and it looks retarded. I tried to dye my hair blonde, on a dare, so I bought a bleaching kit, it didn't do much, just turned some parts of my hair orange...That actually looked kinda' neat though, no one else had hair color.Ha...The only color that does work in my hair is black...but it's too hot for black hair right now...

It sucks though...My hair doesn't like me.

Blonde is nice! Mine's naturally a dark red, I THINK. It's been so colored for so many years-- who knows? I like it better when it's a blonde-red, so that's what I've had since I was about 19 years old.

after being blonde for a while you hair doesnt hold color...mine is like that too..especially if you are a beach blonde like me...it takes a couple dye jobs to get the color you want without it washing out...that is because us blondes have less or no pigment in our hair

Me. Red washes right out of my hair.
On the other hand, I dyed my hair a chocolate brown once and it came out black! It took a lot of washings and a bottle of Pert to get that out.

I guess I'll just be a brunette.

nope, I'm a natural medium brown and I keep my hair colored red. Try having a professional do it and have them use a booster to make the color take effect.

You should ask your parents if your really human. Alien adoption is a secret society. I heard the only way to tell is hair un-able to be colored.

I can only colour my grey bits nothing else sticks
But it changes all the time anyway, the sun bleaches stripes and winter makes it go almost brown
I think everyone thinks that I colour it - but I don't

No, my brown hair loves being red and clings to it as long as it can.
