On 4th of October, 1996 at Nairobi Gymkhan cricket ground Shahid Ali Khan Afridi who was batting for the first time in a ODI scored a hundred against Sri Lanka. Shahid was just 16 years and 217 days old then but the more important thing is that it was the fastest hundred scored in a one day match as it was scored on just 37 balls. Afridi still holds the record for fastest hundred in a one day international
