Most Mormons live outside the USA. Half that live in the USA are under voting age. Half the ones of voting age in the USA are outside Utah. So Utah LDS may vote Republican by 80% for President, but others by a smaller margin. Dems cut into the GOP even in Utah by locally offering candidates that are not on the left fringes.

Mormons are a Christian sect, so you will find them flocking to the Republican party. Republicans claim that this is a Christian nation. Republicans would like to pass laws that resemble the Ten Commandments. They would probably like the Ten Commandments to be the Law of the United States.
Democrats are too American for a Christian sect. They are almost a cult by any standard definition, but whatever blows up your dress, I suppose.

I live in Utah.
Mormons are almost ENTIRELY Republican. Utah is one the MOST ''REd" states in the nation.
I would say 97 pecent of Mormons are Republicans.

Most Mormons are extremely conservative and therefore Republican. They have contributed huge sums to Mitt Romney's campaign.

Under IRS law, LDS can not openly endorse a party or a candidate. But I would think most are Republican.

I dont know but living in Idaho, we have a large percentage of the population being LDS. All of the members that I know always vote conservative.
I know of none that vote liberal.

...first of all, don't give the Mormon "cult" anymore then they are striving for... (read about Joseph Smith)... I report, you decide... be sure to ware your "special" underwater and await for "Christ: to show up in Salt Lake City"... read the Scriptures !!!!!
